I became involved in anti-censorship activism while I was still in high school, when I was prevented from reading Mark Twain's "Letters to the Earth." (I got to read it later and thoroughly enjoyed it, but just look at how I turned out!) My interest in the right to free access to all media, particularly all forms of sexual self-expression, has never waned, and I have become involved with sex workers' rights activism, as well. I believe that criticism may well be appropriate, but that legislating against what you criticise is not an appropriate form of self-expression! Below are links to some of the anti-censorship and sex workers' rights web sites which I support.
In case you're wondering what freedom of expression and sex workers' rights have in common, all I can tell you is that the same people work against both.
